Fall

We've had quite the "exciting" Late summer and fall. Our 2 year old mare "Merida" sustained some injuries do to being a foolish "child". Resulting in tearing her fascia in her right shoulder as well as a fractured rib (if not fully broken) She spent approx. 2 weeks in her stall on rest, then received treatment from a massage therapist as well as magnawave treatments from Windy Oaks Ranch. If you want more information about each of these treatments please email me and I can forward you the contact information. After her magnawave treatment Merida was allowed to go back out on pasture for several weeks. Eventually HUGE improvement was seen in the fluids in her shoulder and rib area, and she started light lunge line work again. Lunging, ground driving for a few weeks and now she is being saddled and ridden again. Its been a long two months of me trying to be paitchent and not so stressed out. I am excited to be able to start lightly riding this youngster again, she is an absolute dream to work with!
