We are Tom and Elizabeth Goad of The Goad Family Farm. Together with our little ones, Emma and Emmett, we have created a homestead farm that will stay in the family for generations to come! Our family farm is located in the quaint town of Parish in Oswego County, New York. Together, we are working to create a prosperous farm business to not only sustain our own healthy lifestyles, but to support our community as well. We use recycled farm materials to nourish our produce so that nothing goes to waste and grow in beds as well as straight from the composted materials directly to best utilize space and purpose. We strive to educate ourselves as well as others on the intrinsic values farming has on our way of life and how it can be easily sustainable with dedication and care.
Tom has attained his bachelor's degree in 'Animal Science and Husbandry'; graduating from Delaware Valley University in 2010. Tom has always had a heavy influence in agriculture since a child as he spent most of his years living on his uncles' farm in Croghan NY, caring for various types of livestock.
Elizabeth has years of accrued experience and knowledge of agriculture working with horses and having a passion for growing her own food. More recently she has found a sincere love for canning and preserving, as well as educating herself and others about self-sufficiency.
